Phase II of LED’s done
Finished phase two of LED lights in my shop! Very happy with the results and having light down low in my three work bays. The adjustable “UFO”‘round LED’s are the bomb by the way!!!

Re: Phase II of LED’s done
That may be the way I have to go. All of my old tube type are giving out here and there. Too bad I'm gonna have to "haar" it out as I can no longer trust getting on a ladder. I just HAVE to put up a new one over my work bench. It is out completely.

Hey Lawson
Let me know when you want to do it and I’ll leave early one Saturday and I’ll help you install some. Send me a few pictures of what you want to do and I can recommend which lights to use and we’ll get them installed!!!! |

Veeder
I have said for year…..before acquiring what I have…….No matter what you get, it’s immediately too small. No matter what you build, the minute the concrete gets poured, it’s too small |

Re: Phase II of LED’s done
I bought a box of 5 of the doubles to replace aging fluorescents. Am I going to miss having the reflectors over the new LED's? The old ones are hard mounted to sheet rock ceiling. The new LED's are just basically a bulb with holder on each end and wiring. I guess any light will be better than none.

My initial dual LEDs are 10’6” off the floor, they do a good job and provide way more light than the Florescent lights that were up there, with that said they are still to high up to provide the needed light for my aging eyes, that’s why I put another row running down the sides of each bay 7’6” off the floor to put more like closer to the cars. I also bought 5 adjustable UFO style LEDs to try them and I hung them down to 7’6” as well and those are extremely bright and light things very well!! So short story long, depending on how high your ceiling is makes a huge difference!! If you need or want close up pictures of my set up let me know!!! |
