Re: 64 ranchero
You do great work Frank ! Beautiful car. It's begging for a hot 347 Ford crate motor.

Re: 64 ranchero
For years now I have been seeing some Ranchero's with the 2 - tone paint job , like above . Anybody know if it was an option , or something individual owners did themselves ?

A more generic upper/lower two-tone is described in the Exterior specifications paragraph. http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/ford/ranc/ranc.html But the white side stripe was a factory option in '65... close-up photo http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/stati...oldout-01.html A description of the '65 two-tone paint option is in the 'Exterior specifications' section. The side stripe was white, except on a white Ranchero it would be red. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/stati...oldout-04.html . Last edited by dmsfrr; 08-05-2017 at 10:32 AM. |

Re: 64 ranchero
If all you can get out of it is 50-55, there is something wrong with it. my dad had a 64 Falcon wagon with the small six (144) and I being a young kid, ( 16 at the time ) used to regularly run it up over 90 when I was allowed to use the car. the old man would have kicked my butt if he would have known

Re: 64 ranchero
If you were closer, I would be tempted. I have always had a soft spot for the '63 through '65 Falcons/ Rancheros
