Default 1942 canadian pickup serial #

trying to locate Serial # on 1942 Canadian ford 1 Ton pickup Was told it was a 46 but It has metal ford emblem on hood and hidden bolts for running boards Looked on drivers side top of frame rad support to cab No luck Thanks

Good luck finding any numbers on the frame Ted, I bought a 46 1/2 ton some time ago and went the whole length of the frame on both sides as well as front cross members and never turned up a thing. Had to use the transmission # and hoped it was original to the truck ! Sold it to a collector dealer last fall and he had a wicked time getting a N.H.title but finally did ! Good luck, Bob

I have a titled as a 42 COE that I never found a number on it either and I scabbed the frame nose to the trans on both sides, nothing there.
