lost power
driving down the road with my 1930 model a and all of a sudden she lost power and quit on me.after a few minutes she started up and was fine.stomped.anybody have any ideas what could cause this?its getting fuel and not over heating.

As soon as the problem starts pull the choke some and see if it helps. If not, and the car stalls, then quickly get out and check the spark by holding the coil wire 1/4" from a head nut, and see if you get a nice hot blue spark.

Could have sucked up some crap in a carb jet to stall it out, and then when it did quit, no suction could have shifted the debris and allowed fuel flow again. Like Tom said, if it is carb debris when you pull the choke it will pull through the jet stronger and sometimes you are able to suck it through and then be fine.
