Default Need Sediment bulb/ fuel line help please

Hello A Gang; Ok more questions please, I am trying to figure out the finish for the sediment bowl to dash mounting nut for a summer 1930 Tudor ( the big nut above PS feet area holding it on) and also the lockwasher ; I cannot spot this in the JS anywhere. I do see the nut listed in the parts book as Cad plated ( A-21923) however at least one of mine looked more like black paint. Has the finish yet been pinned down, or did it vary?
Second issue, is regarding the inside gas line. Here are some pictures of two of mine, the easy one is the 1930 Model A ; its regular in every way exactly as the JS says it should be ( 27/32" length cone nuts; 5/16" in diameter,Terne finish).
My mystery gas line is tagged "9230-B" in the pics; I have no idea what it is for - I would say the cone length is 1 and 1/16" inch; 9/16 " wrench size, and what confuses me is the line diameter which is 3/8". It physically fits my Model A , but I am guessing maybe its really Model B or 1950's replacement or something else? Does anyone know? Thanks as always for your kind help , Kev. Oh also the seam on the Unknown is much less pronounced than on the Model A one.

Initially the nut was cad plated and later changed to unfinished. I can't pinpoint when the change was but would guess late 1928. The washer was unfinished all years.

I can't see a seam on your gas line in question. If there is no seam then it's not era and the differences become a moot point.

Thanks a lot for the info guys, I guess I can make it Cad or unfinished on the nut ; Marco the line does have a seam it just did not photograph well; I'd say its 1/3 the size of the Model A one . I bought it in an estate sale a few years back so the history is unknown. Thanks again,Kev

I should have noted that the nut was changed to unfinished no later than early 1930. I'm just confident it was much earlier.

Here is a bit better picture showing the seam, I was going to offer five bucks to the first person to ID it ; but I have a feeling my email is not big enough for that , ha ha! Kev

That is "modern". Modern tubing is butt welded I assume. The tubing of the period was a thinner layer rolled around twice. At the overlap the continuous layer is stepped so both the inside and outside end up flush but show a slight groove both inside and out. I'm sure that's clear as mud but it's the best I can do!
