Thanks Bill Williamson - I got my Steering wheel off!
Hello Gang , All right I admit it; I 've been lurking around the Forum again late night ; saw a thread about seized steering wheels and a Bill Williamson said his 'rock and roll elbow's locked' method was sure to work - well my A wheel wasn't seized but my Datsun one sure was ( Gasp!!! can he SAY that word on this forum?! Yup I just did , ha ha!) I tried Bill's method and had the wheel loose in about 13 seconds flat - what makes this even more impressive is that I had already broken off a bolt in Datsuns pre-drilled puller hole ( It REALLY was stuck!) I had about given up on ever getting it off , so thank you Bill!
While I am at it, thanks to all who recently advised me on doing my Model A roof a few weeks back, it turned out very nice indeed, and my car is slowly starting to come alive. Kev. |

Way to go Kev! Good to hear you got the roof done in time for winter.
It's pissing like a tall cow over a flat rock here............headed to a soggy swap meet. Cheers! |
