Default Zenith question

Morning
I installed a Zenith carb on my model a . When I start it, I can hear air rushing into the carb. (whisle noise) It did not make that noise with Tillotson.
Thanks
Tom

Sounds like you have an air leak, either the gasket on the manifold or where one of the butterflies are.

Not much info. New, used, rebuilt ? New manifold to flange gasket ? All the pieces where they should be ?

The carburetor is sucking air as it should, so there will be some air intake noise. Re-position the GAV control and see if there is a change. If the car runs good I wouldn't worry about it.
