Default FORD {Dairy} BARN Find

Yes ... all of these photographs were taken at the same location ... an old dairy farm in the Central California Coastal town of Guadalupe ... I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story ... Enjoy!

Nice. Those wooden stanchions brought back a bunch of memories of my youth. Looks like the owner collected more than old fords & liked wine. Nothing wrong with that.

HUH !!!!Farmed myself out when I was 15. BY HAND you ask???Did I ever 12 holestiens & 2 jerseys by hand by myself every morning before school & @ night before dinner. Didn't have any of them modern milk machines. Then went to bed in the unfinished attic & dressed in the basement. Drove a A model sport coupe on the Kerosene I pilfered from the ol baxxxxd owner. $10.00 a month + room & board in the winter & 20 a month in the summer when I wasn't in school. When he raised hell about me skipping school one day a week to work in the sawmill I quit.

Ha, Holsteins here ! And, just the opposite of your hands...mine wore plumb out to the point now of reconstruction.

Hey, those pictures look suspiciously familiar/similar to seen in past !

I bet you know a little about baling hay and husking corn also. That A model must have been a low compression flathead.

How can it be a barn find?
I didn't see any chicken poop, spider webs, or bits of straw laying about.

I'm sure this post is as old as the no longer standing barn shown in these pics. This beautiful collection belonged to my Papa. Whoever replied with Oso flaco dairy was correct. The memories that flood my heart are as priceless as these pics. Thanks fordbarn.

The Seicrest collection was very neat and orginized, no
dust or dirt. I have Ron's last car, a 32 that was made up
of ALL NOS parts including engine. Restored over 50 years
ago and still perfect. I believe his restoration man, Virgle
Sternum is still alive in Nevada. G.M.
