Speedometer Cable
1935 Tudor Sedan
I have a broken speedometer cable. I pulled it out from the top but the broken end is still in the transmission and I need to extract it and replace it with a new one along with my rebuilt speedometer. The transmission end is hard to get to being right in the heart of the X frame. Question: Can I access it from above? Is there a panel or port I can remove from the floor to get to it?

Re: Speedometer Cable
If you pull the trans cover off the floor pan you should be able to get to the cable and remove it. It's actually on the drive shaft and not on the transmission.
