I'm 77 and grew up in a cloudmist 40 4dr that my dad bought new. It was the first car I drove at age 15. It was in our family until 1961. I now have one just like it and drive it often as weather permits. My first car was a 51 Ford convert.

I'll be 74 in three weeks. First car was a '51 Ford Country Squire Wagon. Current car is a P-38 Drop Tank with an injected Flathead on gas. Looking for 180 mph this year.

Kind'a odd, that Kubarth guy has chimed-in here twice on this "age" stuff....yet won't commit to his own current mileage! Kube...the sneaky-lookin' one on the left! DD

Now I feel left out. I posted my age (76) on the 2nd page, I think but, not my first car.

It was my best friends car, I got it in '59 at 15, when he got a 50 Ford.

It was a '48 Merc, coupe. Tuck and Roll, interior, '39 trans and a 3/16 over engine, No cam or carburation though.
