Default 8BA engine, early car.

When shoving an 8BA in a pre '48. I seen lots of pics of stock 8BA mounted in an earlier car using the earlier car trans. When this is done, how do you compensate for the angle of the carb mounting on the inlet manifold? I know lots run the earlier inlets so no problem, but what about the ones with stock 8BA inlets. As these will tip the carb forward when engine is mounted early style?
Thanks,
Martin

Not a problem. Been done somanytimes, noboty thinks of it anymore. Might just need a float adjustment.
