Arrived around 2:30 pm eastern time Sunday. Drove in rain from about noon.
Fields look just like they should -- rental tents and porta pots spread out. Not much in the way of Hershey Park traffic --- due to the rain no doubt.

Did find out that to park in the lots to go to Hershey Park costs.............$25.00

wow!

wow!
Forcast says it will clear up tomorrow, and be beautiful the rest of the week, climbing to the 70s later in the week.

Some friends went to the park 3 weeks ago, said it was jam packed. They tried to eat at the Chocolatier restaurant, was told it was a several hour wait to get a table, there were waiting lines just to get into the building to see the shops.
I walked over and ate there last year after the condition runs, it was a ghost town then.

I recommend the Chocolatier, the food was great.

Does anyone know of any motorcycle parking, preferably on macadam? Thinking of riding up on Thursday, no reverse in the truck and can’t chance parking in the field. Thanks

Guaranteed that you got your parts washed on Tuesday --- if it gets any colder, it will be called the snowmobile fall meet.

Actually parts were washed Monday, Tuesday and some of Wednesday as well.
But Thankfully no mud on the vending fields

A few years ago, I purchased a set of four 15" Ford rims. Three of them had little "nubbiest" on the inside of the center piece and the fourth had spring clips for hubcaps. Asked all around and came up dry. This morning, I was out the door at about 4:30 AM for a one day and return trip to the Mecca of old car parts. I got there at about 7, parked the car (got a good spot, the mud was under control this morning) and wandered over and across into the green area. About 5 minutes later, there was a pair of them at an OK price! Only down side was he wouldn't sell just one so now I own two! Somebody was on my side this morning.

Pete....Lucky YOU! Did you make sure of the width, as 4" and 4-1/2" wide CAN be very similar in appearance. Actually, there are quite a few interesting details on early Ford wheels distinguishing one from another. You got pics, by any chance?

Yeah, I got a picture on my iPhone and I brought it up on my MAC as a jpeg to get the size down to put it in my post. BUT, the MAC tells me I don't have permission to save it once it's been shrunk. AAAARRRRGGHH!!! I'll try with another picture once I get going this morning.

OK, I got another picture, down sized it and was able to save it to post it here!

As a side note, what year and model were these originally used on??

File size matters, too big and they will NOT load.

I adjust the size to 800 x 600 pixels. You adjust the width to 800 if it's a horizontal picture and height to 800 if it's vertical. Works for me.

I think that they first showed up on 1949 Ford Station Wagons, and then became part of the 1950 Ford options.

But, if I am incorrect, then others will let us know.

Pete, those are 15" F-100 pickup rims. As I recall they showed up beginning in 1953. I believe they came in 3 widths , 4 1/2", 5" and 5 1/2". They had the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. Those rims with the inner bumps for the hubcaps ended in 1966.

IF you email them from your I-Phone to yourself on the computer, you can resize them on your phone BEFORE you send them to yourself!!! IF you need to know how to do that let me know!!! MOST Of what i take on my phone are 6-7 Gig.....IF you resize them on your phone from "actual size" to either "large" or "medium" (one of the two will be below 1 gig) then they will load onto FB page PLUS you don't get the I-Phone loaded sideways pictures direct from the Spy-Phone!!!

I believe "TJ" is likely going to end-up being correct with info in his post #56, above. BUT....when I first looked at that picture, I wondered if that MIGHT be a really rare 16" wheel that is 5" wide. Can you verify whether that wheel is 15" or 16"? And can you verify the width BETWEEN the beads?

I just got home, as tired as ever. I saw lots of empty space this year, and lots of spaces used for parking cars. Attendance and buying seemed light from the conversations I had w/folks. I didn't see as furious of a mass exit Thursday as previous years, there were still lots of vendors there Friday morning. I did get to shake hands with and meet Tim Ayers and Chuck Kuntz for the first time. The car show was bigger than ever with 1100 entries.
