Apatchy is on the road again
I'm slow getting around to most stuff nowadays, but I do finally get it done. After having trash in the gas, pulling the carburetor and fuel pump, and sending 'em to Charlie NY a couple of times, (My fault, not his) plus pulling the tank, washing it out, blowing out the gas lines and changing out filters, I hooked everything back up and a month or two later I cranked him up, saw everything was working as it should and shut him off. A couple of months later, read that today, I cranked him up and took him out for a spin. Everything checked out AOK. I basically was in panic mode the whole time as my legs just aren't behaving today. Very little feeling in feet and legs because of diabetic neuropathy. I got him back home and parked him in the garage. He's been living in the shop during his prolonged illness. He is doing well now and I'm pleased he is "back home" as it were. God is good.

Re: Apatchy is on the road again
I gotta keep goin' as he needs a bath in the worst sort of way. Not road dirt, but NO road dirt. Somehow birds get in the shop and poop all over it when they have the whole wide world to do their business in. Go figger.

Lawson, You are a role model to us 'younger' guys. I hope to just keep on doing what I do now with these old rigs, but dang I get sore with all the crawling over, under, around and upside down. Still I can't stay away from these mechanical marvels of iron and steel. Thanks for posting. I am inspired once again.

Lawson, well done. You have to keep your legs going. The truck will be OK. How is your 60 hp engine going ? Regards, Kevin.

lose my ability to walk because I'd become dependent on it. I never got it, and I'm still getting around fairly well. I'm glad I took her advice. The 60HP is basically complete but I need a proper stand to put it on. The museum is balking on the display stand. I'm trying to figure a way to come up with the funds to have one built. I am NOT going to set it on a couple of concrete blocks.
