Default '29 Fordor Briggs top

My '29 Briggs is pretty much an original car except had a new top put on sometime in the '60s or early '70s. It is kind of a canvas/vinyl material. Its in very good shape so I don't plan on replacing it but what type of material would have been original to that model?

If its a '29 Leatherback 60A it had a brown top w/ a pebble pattern, if it is a 29 leatherback 60B it had a black pebble pattern top. 60C Steelback had a black top but I don't know the pattern.
