Default V8 and v12 cam gear

Do any of you guys know if the center dimension between crankshaft and camshaft are the same with the Ford v8 and the Lincoln v12. I built a v8 years ago and used a v12 cam gear. It looked the same and fit fine and runs good. I'm now building a v12 and find the center distance is about +.025 on the v12. Did they make a different gear for the Lincoln?

Thanks a lot
