Walt, the green one pictured here, is the manifold supposed to be silver? I know it is a 21 not a 24 stud. I was wondering, some of the 41's I have seen are green

Mark, I think that intake is a 35 or 36 aluminum, I have a big glass beard machine and I glass bead about all my aluminum and small stuff. I paint things like the aluminum intake with an aluminum paint called (aluminew) you cain't bye it in a regular parts store, I cain't remember where I ordered it, I know I ordered 6-8 rattle can, quite expensive, around 16 bucks a can. Eastwood Aluma Blast works really well and is about the same price Walt, they have rattle cans or quarts.

Walt,
Good looking engine --nice to see 21 stud brought back to spec!

The pan appears to have block-out covering the road draft port on the block.
Also no vent tube in the right front of intake valley.
How will this engine vent?

Still trying to learn about these V8s!

The pan has the vent on the right front of the pan, just don't show in the pic, the vent tube in the front of the valley belongs there, I just haven't put it in yet. Walt

I have bought a few cans of 'period correct' rattle-can paint (as well as quarts) from Bill Hirsh Auto. I won't say the paint is cheap (especially the rattle cans), but he has a lot of original colors and the stuff is pretty high quality.

That paint on that 37 21stud is ( Briditsh Racing Green) it looks blue in the pic but is acually pretty close to early flathead green with a little more shine. Walt

Walt, does the BRG paint cause electrical problems like it does in Jags?
