Thank You "FlatHeadCoupe"
John McClure aka FlatHeadCoupe removed and replaced the old rusted lock cylinders in the Tailgate handles of my 46 Wagon. Keyed the glove box door to match. This all happened over the Christmas Holidays.
When I received the handles they looked new. Much to my surprised he removed a ding or two and buffed the handles. The locks work great too. Thanks again Ford Barn for great folks like John aka "FlatHeadCoupe" Report Picture Last edited by GaryTx; 01-06-2015 at 10:05 PM. |

Re: Thank You "FlatHeadCoupe"
I just bought a trunk handle from John. When he described it he said it had some wear on the chrome and a some "pitting" above the lock. I expected it to be less than good, but needed it so I bought it anyway. When it came it is a very, very good driver quality. Much better than I expected. My experience with him has been pretty darn good. Was more than honest with me. My thanks too.

John has done a lot of good work for me and I am several thousand miles away down under in New Zealand.

Re: Thank You "FlatHeadCoupe"
Hello FlatHeadCoupe,
I'm interested in buying a 1939 trunk lid handle in show quality if you still have any available. I tried sending you an email to [email protected] but it was bounced with a 5.4.1. error (undeliverable). Do you currently have an email problem. Best regards John (UK) Last edited by 40forever; 02-18-2015 at 09:35 AM. |

I've just bought a 1939 Trunk Lid Handle from John McClure aka "Flatheadcoupe". What a great guy to deal with and the handle condition was spot on.
I fully recommend John's business (Locks & Trim) if you need a recon handle. Many Thanks John. |
