Default Enclosed Transport

My friends are investigating the prospect of transporting 10-12 Model A's from Texas to New England. Does anybody have any experience with a company that can handle that many cars?

Not on one truck

For the time being - avoid Reliable Carriers

Just hauled a 58' Chrysler Imperial from Maine to Oregon for
a guy who gave his credit card number to them - was charged the full amount the next week -his car was still not picked up a month later.

Something is amiss with them right now.

Avoid giving out your credit card number if possible ..

Intercity lines inc. out of Mass. You can get a discount if you fill a truck and you will most likely fill two.
I used them to transport 6 cars from Ct. To Nc. And got a great discount and very good service because the entire truck was dedicated to me.
They do a nice job and are very careful.

good luck.
I needed to move 8 cars the other way. No one would give me the time of day. They would go up and down the east coast all day long, but not out west.

Passport would do it, but wanted 6 million dollars

and they will NOT let you drive the cars on/off yourself

Ended up a construction buddy and I did it ourselves in 3 trips; he had a double length trailer and I hauled a single. 1800 miles one way.

If you find someone, please post it for the benefit of others.

Terry Berry of Cars Enclosed hauled a 1924 Glacier Cadallic touring car that was sold at the Auctions of America sale in Auburn Ind a couple years ago from Auburn out here to the west coast for me and when he got here he remembered that he had been here a couple times for my neighbor who deals in older cars, very profesional I even had him drive the car a 1/2 mile to my shop as it was dark and I hadn't driven it yet,he was more than happy to do that. He runs out of WaKeeney Kansas,he came recommend to me from one one of the guys that I know that works in the business.
u ship is the last place you would want to look for a haul like this.
