machine girl .............
Would you believe that I sent a fairly heavy package from Florida to Hawaii and it got to him on the third day ? It went USPS Priority Mail.
I guess that it flew, directly to Hawaii, and then to his house.
USPS Priority Mail is trackable, with free insurance, up to $100.00.
It doesn't matter how heavy (up to 70 lbs.) or to what Postal Zone, same price, as long as it fits into their box. Also, the Post Office supplies the boxes, for FREE ! No more digging through dumpsters for the right size box.
You just can't beat it for heavy packages, or for long distances.
If you send something light or for a short distance, you might pay too much. It's still the same price.
A lot of suppliers don't want to fool with the Post Office. They would rather just have it picked up by a Delivery Company and charge the extra bucks to the customer. It's easier that way.

Not only that they will come to your door and pick up Priority packages at no charge. I have received and sent over 1027 packages with no loss!

The USPS flat rate priority shipping works great for me as well. As someone else said, they will come to your place to pick up these packages. I too wish more suppliers/dealers would use this system. I believe the other carrier's offer special deals to the suppliers to keep them from going usps.

I've know the Snyder family for several generations. Great people and old fashioned business ethics!
