National Meet Parts Vendors
Any parts vendors attending National meet in Perrysburg. Needing "new" 29 running boards and wanting to save some $ on shipping fees.

Re: National Meet Parts Vendors
I would contact the vendor and make sure they bring you a pair.
Snyder's and Gaslight are both in Ohio, and I'd expect to see them there with some parts. |

Re: National Meet Parts Vendors
Who? What? Where? I didn't know anything about the meet in Perrysburg. That's not too far from home for me. Is there a swap meet included and when, Where?

Re: National Meet Parts Vendors
There have always been a swap meet area at the 5 or 6 MARC meets I have attended the last 7 or 8 years. There are usually about 50 or so vendors selling ALL model A parts, mostly original parts.

Re: National Meet Parts Vendors
Perrysburg is really easy to find. It's by the intersection of Route I80 (Ohio Turnpike) and Route I75. Turn south at that intersection and you'll run right through Perrysburg. If you go too far south you'll end up in Bowling Green (BGSU). If you go waaaay too south you'll end up in Tampa.

Re: National Meet Parts Vendors
I'm a paid up member of MARC, but I mislaid my membership card or whatever they gave me at the time (Last Oct, Hershey) So how do I prove it, will they have membership lists or should I take a copy of The Model A News with an address label in my name? Oops I just checked and it doesn't have an address label.

Re: National Meet Parts Vendors
Well, I went to Perrysburg this morning and just got back home. I looked at many beautiful "A's" and shopped at the swap meet. No one asked me if I was a member of MARC as my money is as green as anyone else's. Talked to a lot of friendly folks and had a good time. Not a snooty one in the crowd.
