Take a ride with me in the 52 Merc out in the snow yesterday. Slipping and sliding on the bald Michelins in snow. Great scenery in the frost and snow. Old flathead ran great.

In fact it was warmer than normal that day and I had to leave the only window that cranks down, open. Or else the windshield would fog up .The Mercomatic put out enough heat to melt the snow on the floor from my boots
Heater fan does work but the core was leaking so I disconnected the heater hoses way back last winter. I figure if it is cold enough to need a heater than it is too cold to be starting the old Merc anyway. :-)

I enjoyed your video. It's already 61 degrees here in southern Illinois at 8:45 am. Too warm for December.

Great video Ralph. Looks like you are having fun. Getting 3-4 inches of snow today in NW WI. Roads are very slippery. Merry Christmas.

And you sharp eared guys, I'd be interested to know your opinion on the sound in this video. To me it sounds like a slight miss on acceleration. Can't hear it in the drivers seat and the idle is smooth as glass, but the camera mike picked it up. When played back on a good set of speakers you can sure hear the music of that straight pipe. :-)
