Love your Sedan Coupe, Graeme. Ford Australia never sold these Coupes, or any Coupes after the 1938 Club Coupes locally. Quite a few of these models have found their way from New Zealand to Australia in recent years. As mentioned in a previous Post, when the Dash Panel was updated for the 1942 Fords in Left Hand Drive form, Ford decided that the expense of updating the Dash in Right Hand Form was not worth the expense, so all 46 to 48 Fords and Mercurys retained their respective carry-over 1941 Dashes.

Pat yourself on the back! I love the colour too. If you leave now you should make the Barners Bash in Florida come Feb/March. Shakedown cruise/Road trip..pick up Old Henry along the way...Bill

Don't let my old' lady find out it takes 18 yrs sometimes! She's on my case after three and a half! Car looks fantastic- every minute of that long process has paid off! Except that one minute, the other day.... Sorry, had to...Congrats on finishing one of the best Fords! -Chris

Thanks Karl. I'm not taking it to the Vero rally. Need to "shake her down" first before I take her any distance.

Cheers mercman. The big photo of the interior reminds me that I need to hook that speedo cable up again. I broke it on the first trip out as I put it up & routed it in a too tight bend (to prevent the compliance people from getting upset with it hanging down a bit). I've got a new one on the way.

Nice resto.....you must be well pleased..and rightly so.Putting cars back to near original condition is something that in the past I would have shied away from, but these days it seems that's where my interest lies. The interior looks especially nice......enjoy it and put some miles on the clock.
