Default Noise probably due to water pump.

I have since today the following noise, probably due to the water pump.

https://youtu.be/ny2t-XKK7LE

The fan wheel has no play, the maintenance-free water pump has only been installed for about 50 miles.
What can it be?

Greetings from Bavaria

Gero

Remove the belt to ensure it is coming from the pump.

Or use a long screwdriver as a stethoscope.

Yep, find it for sure.

If it is the pump, it can be the impeller if it slipped in too far or the pulley/fan may have come loose.

I agree with Ruth, that is the best way to tell. Just remove the belt.

also make sure your belt is not "too tight"

See if you can take hold of one fan blade and wiggle the fan on the shaft. Sometimes the fan and shaft taper don’t match.
