1929 closed cab mounting blocks
I'am putting together a 29 CCPU and need some pictures of how and where the rear and middle wooden mounting blocks go. Does anyone have any pictures and tips of how the cab should be mounted. I have the blocks and bolt kit to do the job. This is a rusty cab and bed that I have gathered up here in Montana and were not on a chassis. I am not going to paint the truck but going to just keep it to look like a barn find. I have already installed a new wood kit in the cab, Wooden top kit and Also new metal floor seat pan and risor. I have the cab sitting on the frame and the bed and fenders mounted. Thanks Ford Barn!

Re: 1929 closed cab mounting blocks
Here are some additional photos. There is a piece of rubber that tacks to the block. The rubber is between the frame and the block. My photo shows a flat washer but there is only a nut and lockwasher used for the body bolts. This was taken while I was lining up the cab and shimming to get the doors and body adjusted, I don't use the lock washers while I'm doing that adjustment.

Re: 1929 closed cab mounting blocks
FWIW, It looks as though your using the AA bolt location on your cab, and your frame was for a car, as it is not drilled for CCPU mounting...
Check this link for details on 82-A cabs from Neil Wilson click link for AA-82205 d3 Floor Pan https://aafords.com/cabs/82-a-closed...d-cab-details/ https://aafords.com/wp-content/uploa...2205-d3-q8.jpg Cowtown, I had to drill my frame as well, mounted cab and lined everything up to mark hole locations... Re: 1929 closed cab mounting blocks
So does the middle wood block and bolts go in the CENTER BODY BOLT HOLES in the Diagram?

Yes, those holes are just behind the front piece of the seat riser, under the seat. They will match the holes in the frame.
