Default Late 1931 Wide Bed Pickup Assy

Hi All I finally found a fairly solid wide bed for my Late 31 pickup. I know this truck has many incorrect parts but I am trying to make it as close to original as possible. I am trying to understand the mounting points for the wide bed and hoping someone could share some pics of there frame and/or under bed so I can see how it sits and mounts? Can anyone recommend a place to purchase the wood for mounting?

Thanks for any input!

Snyder's and I imagine most vendors have the wood.

Hope you have the rear fenders to go with the bed!

I believe they are one of a kind.

They can be cut (approx. 1 1/2") in half, length wise and then welded. I had seen it done some time ago and could not believe that I couldn't see the seam.

Here are some pictures of a wide bed I once had. Some things weren't correct on the truck but it came from a barn where it sat untouched for years. Hope you find these useful.

I've got a late '31 wide bed. It's easier to post a link to my website than pictures. It did have the steel bed but I like wood so I converted it. There a several pictures of it before the conversion.

Thanks for everyone's input this is a huge help in moving forward. Being my first Model A rebuild I think I have made every mistake possible in the learning process. @MickeyT beautiful work on the truck and great photography!
