I purchased a solar powered (plus mini plug/USB capable) portable, Battery Powered, Blue Tooth Capable Speaker for the Model A.

It has a very loud speaker, and has a microphone that will pair to your smartphone for hands free phone calls and GPS.

It cost $100 at COSTCO. The solar capability should suit open cars tremendously as it can sit on the seat charging without blocking the speaker.

It is called the ROCKOUT2SOLAR Rechargeable Speaker. Ten Hours music per charge.

So, for the guys with hard tops all they have to do is bolt it to the roof.
