Default Rear mains

I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine. And I came across and article in a book that said the Babbitt used in the model A engine from the factory was inferior Babbitt to the model T as my crank is standard I would like to run it with original ford Babbitt mains. Would the Babbitt hold up. Any advice would be helpful. Jerry

What book, and what article.

Can you reproduce the article here?
