Default Shocks

The way I understand you can check the operation of the shock by fully closing the needle valve this should cause the shock movement in the down stroke extremely difficult. I used this method on my shocks and two shocks failed and two passed is the needle valve the cause? Any help would be appreciated? Jerry

Silly question, Did you check the fluid level in your shocks?

When I first brought my Town Sedan home I checked all the fluids, oil, trans, shocks, etc. Shocks were low so I filled them and overnight the fluid had leaked back out... Ended up buying 4 new Stipes... Never regretted the decision.

Had same issue as Y blockhead. Found out our shocks on car were repos with no ability to refill, and fluid leaked from outer chambers.
