Default 1948 Coupe Windshield

Bought new glass, rubber, & outer windshield division bar. don,t know how division bar is attached. there's 3 screw holes in back piece of divison bar but what do they attach to? Any help very appreciated.

The screws go through the center - inner molding, then the rubber and finally in to the outer - center molding.
