Picked up some more cylinder head bullion today. 12 Winfield iron and the first OHV iron sample. They look very nice. Can't wait to machine the OHV. Winfield machining has already run parts.

Tod, Gordon Eliot White's Leo Goossen Archives has copies of blue prints for both of the push rod heads, each penned by Goossen when at Miller and then at Schofield. I have those in my files. The Schofield print would permit you to verify exact water passageways/jackets, etc.

The more I see, the more I like what Tod is doing. I wish I could afford one but it would cost me twice as much as it would you guys.
I am mildly surprised that the combustion chamber is not hemispherical. I'm sure Tod will have considered it but I'd like to hear why he decided against doing it.

Currency conversion is getting better. It'll be cheap when it gets to 2011 rates again.

$US is dropping:

The original Miller/Cragar's required A LOT of spark advance to develope good power, Dodgde's suggestion is very good. Also, the originals used 6 cyl. Buick rocker arms, 1.25:1 ratio. I would recommend 1.5's for several reasons, like, most performance cams are ground for 1.5:1 rockers, and valve lift is very important.
