Old stained and aged 'A'........
on paper taped onto the lower passenger side window facing outward. Backside talks about saving tires from wear. Would someone know what this 'A' is?
Thanks Ed

I have three different ones on my cars. A, B and C. They are indeed a conversation piece especially when someone knows what they are.

Nice to know. I'll need to have a chat up plan in mind when the ladies stop by for a closer look-see who are too young to know what it is.

Re: Old stained and aged 'A'........
Nice table! I'm feeling B but what was considered long distance back then?
Doing my math from my certificate if it was allowed 70 gal per quarter year which would be 13 weeks, It would have been allowed ~5.4 Gallons a week. That's more than the A ration so it would have to be B correct? Were privately owned farm vehicles considered commercial? Certificate is for a Commercial Vehicle single unit...(possibly a TT ration then)
