dont sell them_ I use them
they are for sale on ebay for around 70 a set. you can stop by and trace a set of mine if near NJ |

It’s been ages since I worked on roadster
How are those pieces different than others? I understand left brake etc Are they the same as all 30-31 model a?? It’s not that easy to find solid core quality plywood....at least for me it is these days Last edited by Oldbluoval; 11-21-2020 at 03:22 PM. |

I think they are the same on all 30/31 ???? My E Brake is to the right of the shifter

The biggest difference is most commercially available reproduction floorboards are the incorrect thickness.

This is where a drum sander comes in handy. The ¾" Plywood has a nominal thickness ²³⁄₃₂" which is 0.719", and the ¹¹⁄₁₆" Plywood should have a finish size of around 0.687". That means if we remove about 15-thousands off each side of the ¾" Plywood, then we have the proper thickness.
Where I am struggling is trying to make ½" (0.500") Plywood for Station Wagon bodies. The print calls for a ⅜" birch core with two ¹⁄₁₆" birch veneers laminated. |
