29 Tudor upholstery question
I am working on installing the upholstery on the 29 Tudor. Back in 2017 I purchased a pre-cut unfinished panel set from LeBaron Bonney. So far I have had two issues. The first issue (which I have rectified) was that the large panel that goes under the side rear window each had two holes-one is for the window crank and the other I have no idea why it is there!
The second issue is that the panel that goes in the rear corners between the back window and the rear side window seems to be different than the one that had been on the car. I have no idea if the old panel was original or was it replaced sometime in its life. Please look at the photos that I have attached and give me your thoughts. I plan on installing the old panels to see how they look and then putting the new ones up to see how THEY look. I don't want to start trimming the new panels to match the old ones until I know for sure that I am doing the right thing.

Re: 29 Tudor upholstery question
My 2009 LB came with instructions that said if you need to trim the new panels pull the cover off/back and then trim, reinstall the cover. If your old panels fit well then try your new panels and then trim them to fit. My helper was watching me and asked me why I removing what I just installed? That's the process! I told mom it's like measure twice cut once. Good luck, take your time and enjoy!

Re: 29 Tudor upholstery question
Panel board is available in case the LB boards can't be made to match the previous pieces. Fit is everything. If old ones fit perfectly then that's your perfect pattern.
