Default Looking for a 32 Ford, anybody recognize?

I built this car at work when I worked at a shop here in Michigan and the shop was done with, closed up and this car was auctioned off in Florida I think at an RM auction? A few other guys had there hands in this too but I do not know if they are hambers so I am not taking all the credit. I put it together and got it running. It was cleaned off and those colors were under the grease coating it had on it when we bought it. Thing about this coupe was the rear window. You could see a faint outline where the metal was cut but there was no evidence of weld on either side, it was done flawlessly some time in the past. The lettering was added later. I just want to know what happened to her? Supposedly she was an old Mexican race car. These are my pics from 5 years ago. Any help??

Either there is another one with a window like this from Mex or this is the same one that was on ebay some time ago. Car also had a strange x member, like a 34 in it.

I also remember the "big-window" coupe on eBay. Seems like it was at least two years ago. As I remember, THAT car had a lot of surface rust, or was a "rusty" color. I don't remember IT being anywhere near as nice as THIS car above. Seems like THAT other car was somewhere in deep, south Texas. Gotta be a story on these "big-window" cars from Mexico. DD

It also had a filled top that was undetectable. Someone told us the rear window was for circle track racing, offers more viewing area for the driver but I do not if this is true or not.

With the parallel springs in the rear, did the car have a torque tube or an open driveshaft?

There are pics and a little history of this car at www.conceptcars.com. Or Google 1932 ford Mexican Racer. It says the car was a special order from the former president of Mexico,Chief Commander Roquen Gonzalez Garza. His son later used it as a race car. It was sold at auction in Hershey,no mention of where it is now.

Why would someone put a street rod interior into a historic racing car?
First hard corner and you'd slide across the seat and lose control.

Don't ask me how I know this.

Mart.

Mart, with those shiney new looking fenders on it, I doubt it is destined to see much track action in the future!
