Default '61 Sunliner question

My good friend and Starliner/Sunliner aficionado died recently. He had restored a '61 Sunliner frame off. It is all new with 352 CID, C6 and all the rest. Trying to sell it for his widow. Any ideas where to start price wise? Original Ford yellow with black interior and white top. Drive any where.

Give this a read - https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/bundles - and see if it helps.

I have had the sad task of selling cars for too many widows! Best bet is to look at auction sites, Hemmings, search on line sites then make notes and compere condition to prices asked and SOLD. Sold being the key, you can ask anything but what are people willing to pay.

Prime example was a car I was able to sell for a friends widow. She was just a "rider", knew nothing of the buy/sell thing. A friend told her the car was worth $55K so I listed it for that. Not a single hit. After a couple of months we had a conversation. It got listed for $39K and sold for $37.5K. (32 Desoto 4dr sdn street rod)

This auction website has been quite popular lately. They seem to get lots of visibility...

I've decided that $32K is a fair asking price. Seems that the car is valued at $40K if in pristine condition. This one is near that but has a few minor issues that could be addressed to make it a 100 point car. This one is a very nice driver with a recent frame-off restoration. Original Ford yellow with black interior and white top. Really nice car. I can send pics with mobile phone number or e-mail address. (904) 571-4323
