Default 16Y Plug Difference??

Cleaning plugs noticed a difference in 2 sets of 16Y plugs/shorter porcelain,electrodes,nut, short one made in USA,other says OC? Any takes on this.

In the LH photo, the plug to the left looks like the standard Champion plug since the 1950's and into the 1980's- '90's. The RH plug looks like very recent manufacture.
