'29 Roadster windshield replacement
Time to replace the old windshield in the roadster. I have the correct pattern. Looking for an experienced shop in the Massachusetts or RI area. What I really need help on is re-installing some vintage windshield stickers. Any suggestions for a do it yourself method or glass shop ? Thank you Fordbarners.

Re: '29 Roadster windshield replacement
I'm a bit confused and dense as always. are you replacing the glass and wish to transfer stickers on the old glass such as gas rationing? I hate to sound pessimistic but I can't envision a commercial auto glass shop wanting to get involved in that.....

why not buy a "fresh" set of old stickers on the bay?- much easier.

I agree. Even if you carefully lift the stickers by using anew razor blade, the stickers seem to curl and also loose much of the sticking power.

You might try a hair dryer or, maybe, vinegar.
You might have to come up with another adhesive, if you are successful. MIKE (mikeburch) |
