Default Drivers door

Drivers door starter coming unlocked while driving down the road. unlocked not open all the way. Is it a simpler adjustment on the door striker or something else ? Body shifting loose body/frame bolts ??

Thank,

Could be wear on striker or plunger on latch unit. Or, tension on spring for plunger.

Check what oldblu pointed out, and play with / adjust the striker...can't hurt
Check hinge pins too, does door have a lot of up/down movement when open?
(Used to live in North Highlands when I was at McClellan AFB, Lou's Burgers on Watt Ave had the best triple burger in the World, can still almost taste them after 30 years+)

Make that 40+ years

I had a similar issue with the driver's door on m 1930 Coupe. First, I made certain that the hinge pins and hinges were not worn by attempting to see if there was any "play" when attempting to move the open door up and down. My hinges and pins were in great condition, no slop, so I decided to adjust the striker plate on the door jamb. The striker plate is held by two rather large screws. Just loosen them enough to gently tease the striker plate slightly towards the outer skin of the car, then retighten and see if the door remains properly latched. Very little movement of the striker is all it takes. Make sure the striker remains in proper alignment to the car body. If the striker plates are badly worn, replacements can be purchased from any of the Model A parts dealers.
