1931 Slant Windshield Front Door Hinge quetsion
[Front Door Hinge Bottom.jpg
Front Door Hinge Top.jpg Front Door Hinge.jpg It seems that the '31 SW has different door hinges to most other models, but similar to the Victoria. I have 2 questions regarding my front door hinges; 1. The front door hinge at the top of the door is mounted differently to the hinge at the bottom of the door. The top hinge has the curved part of the hinge mounted to the door but the bottom hinge has the curved part of the hinge mounted to the cowl. Is this correct? 2. The parts of the front door hinges, (top and bottom,) mounted to the door are NOT screwed on. They seem to be riveted and peened. Is this correct? |

This is a photo of the right door hinges on my Victoria. You can enlarge this photo in MS Paint to get a closeup view of the hinges.
