is there another way to report spam posts with out replying to them and then going back to the reply to report the message as spam?

A lot of times, you can tell spam by the signature. Always some wierd name.

ok parklane i guess you have to respond to the spam post before you can report it

No, not saying that you need to respond to it, just by-pass or ignore it.
