I believe that any good clutch shop can do the reline for you.

I had some done a number of years ago. Any clutch place can do the job, they are much like a motorcycle clutch. There are four disks, eight sides.

I gave my multiple disk alignment tool to Tom Endy in Westminster California. He is the expert on most mechanical Model A subjects.

Capitol Clutch in Sacramento have been in business many years; several years ago they relined a multidisc clutch for me and did a excellent job of riveting the lining; the clutch works perfect. As I recall the cost was around $100.00.

Fred,

Here is an NOS plate. If you need a finished size(thickness), let me know.

Remember that one plate has wider teeth than the others, and this plate goes on the shaft first. This plate will be towards the rear of the car when in place, and it slides the least amount when the clutch pedal is pushed down. I find it's the flywheel teeth more than the clutch plates that wear out (develop notches).

Tom,

The plate you refer to has a notch on one tooth to identify the plate. Just gave a multidisc clutch assemble to a friend yesterday. Pointed out to him the notch on the tooth on the first plate. As I recall, the S.B. make mention of this feature.

Fred,

The information I sent you, with the part number, it has the notch.
Thanks Ron for reminding me.

Yes I know all about the fly wheels, I have had quite a few BOAT anchors !!.. Have seen very few good ones as of late.. Wonder why they don't make "REPRODUCTIONS"
