That is interesting, the Vickey is my wife's favorite Model A. I don't care for any of the slant windshields, just look like the visor is missing!

I like the Vickie except for the lack of visor. to me it looks like something is missing.

A very nice looking Vickie for sure. Looks by the way the seat adjusts it's an early 31. The later ones had the adjustment built into the seat frame work and was on a slide. I have one of each. Happy motoring

The Vicky is also my least favorite body style, and I will admit it took me a while to accept my 31 slant Town Sedan with no visor. I guess the lack of wood helps make up for no outside visor. The outside visor adds to the Model A good looks, and the sound of the exhaust is what first sold me on having to own a Model A.


BTW, I rode in the back seat of a Vicky, and it's too tight for comfort.

The distance from the firewall to the end of the body on the 1930 Tudor is about 93 inches with the rear seat up against the rear of the car.

The distance from the firewall to the end of the body on the Victoria is about 90 inches with the rear seat about 10 in from the end of the body. So there is between 10 and 13 inches less rear seat room.

That’s a nice looking car and the good thing is,,,, you’ll be able to get gasoline with that fuel ration sticker on the windshield. I was just given one of these by my model a buddy (fuel ration sticker). He explained that during WW2 we weren’t short on gas, we were short on rubber so rationing of gas saved rubber????? Sounds reasonable.

Lol. I’ve had the car about two weeks, and, so far, three different drivers have stopped and hopped out of their cars when driving by the Victoria to come talk to me about the car. I had a 1957 Fairlane 500, and I still have a 1965 Mustang. But, I’ve never seen such a level of interest in an old car.

Try explaining to people that your Victoria is the first generation of what eventually became the big Crown Victoria police cars, taxi cabs, limos, etc.

On its first outing a few years ago now, one of my cars won an award for best pre 1930. The young blokes with their hotted up cars with twin overhead fox tails, chromed greasalators and 400 horse power hub caps wouldn't believe that they only have their cars because ones like mine were so good they kept the company going.
