I just saw am M 335 dual 4 barrel intake manifold and a set of the aluminum polishe valve covers at a swap meet near Detroit. The intake appeared like new and so did the polished valve covers. The seller was asking $2800 for both. (no carbs or any other parts).

Is that an average price for that ? Considering the rarity, I thought he would want more. I didn't buy anything.

That Detroit seller had that same setup at Fall Carlise last year. I have his contact information somewhere around here.

Same asking price. The valve covers are poor repops and the intake was not a stamped unit - meaning it was a sold over the counter part.

Intakes seem to go for around $1200.00 give or take (unless your that special seller on eBay asking $3499.95)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1957-58-LINC...BxmBeA&vxp=mtr

That same eBay seller also has original valve covers for an obscene price.

The correct carbs are hens teeth and a pair of those missing some parts and in need of a rebuild just sold for 4K on eBay.

Its an odd /unknown setup and apparently not much of a demand for such a rare item.

Thanks for the info Oldmics (John).

Your helping me learn more. Wasn't aware there were valve cover repops, and that they stamped the manifolds for cars, and not for service.
