I just found a sleeping 1931 Wide Bed Pickup. It is missing the front metal top bow
closest to the windshield. Do you think there is any chance of finding one? Does anyone know how many of these were made? I am looking forward to getting this truck back on the road.

The top bows are hard to come up with, but they are out there. Go ahead now and restore the truck with the front top bow missing. The top bow can easily be installed at a later date without much of a fuss. I installed my top bows after the top was all fitted. By installing the two bows later, I was able to get the best fit between my metal roof and my new door headers.

Jay McCord...Try Berts's in Denver...they have tons of parts.

APPROXIMATLY...16024 (USA and Foreign plus Canada in 1931) and 2134 in 1932.

One thing for sure...I'm going to keep a sharp lookout on the front bow in my pick up!
