Fan hub woes
I was just out in the garage and happened to notice my fan hub looked odd, I checked it and the pulley has completely separated.
I just finished a trip to a car show , about 80 miles round trip. No problems, no noise or vibration whatsoever. It is a 46 or so oil filled hub, rebuilt using new internal parts from Van Pelts. It's still tight, but the front half of the pulley has completely broken off the hub. I can't for the life of me figure out how this happened. I tried to post a pic, but me and computers don't get along. I'm just thankful my radiator was not damaged. |
