Default Cab Doors

Does anyone know if the cab doors on the 46 Ford pickup are the same as a 40 Ford pickup? I need to replace one door and found a 46 pickup locally.

TIA

It's my understanding they are the same, with the only difference being the glass. The early glass didn't use the metal edge surround that the '46 glass uses.
The doors used on the panel trucks are slightly different, with a squared upper rear corner instead of the rounded corner on the trucks.

Good luck!

They both are the same shape and fit interchangeably. There are very minor differences on the inside. The access cover on the 40 is held by 5 screws while the covers on the 41 - 47s are held by on 8 screws.
