I've used S&H Chrome in Nashville Tn on several occasions . Very satisfied with their work.

Precision Plating, 2611 Locust St., Quincy Ill. 62301, 217-223-6590. I've had them do several high end jobs for customer cars in the past. I felt they were reasonable and fair priced. The work they did for me was very good.

I've utilized Steve's services (The Chrome Shop) for better than 35 years. That's more than fifteen complete restorations and a number of "little jobs" along the way.
Each and every piece was returned to me in perfectly restored condition - very high end quality. Also, never an issue with timing. When Steve told me the stuff would be done, it was at my door.
Never an excuse for shoddy work or untimely delivery simply as there was never a reason.
As far as "not cheap"... Steve is fair. High quality plating (much of it is the preparation) is never cheap. This is one of those areas that you get what you pay for.

I second S&H. Quality work at a fair price. A great family business.
