Default 30 coupe window regulators

Finally got my side glass in, glass fits good. The regulators are another story, my left one was hitting the glass channel so I trimmed the back portion that sticks out. Works ok, but the right is worse, still hits even after trimming. Is my door possibly bent in on the inner panel, or are these just poorly made regulators?
BTW these are Ford Authorized parts, made in Taiwan, and I already had to weld the right one because the arm rivets popped out the first time I turned it.

Snyder's has a better window regulator. I replaced the Taiwan unit that was in my PU when I bought it with the Snyder unit and it now works soooooooooooo much better!

Thanks, I think these were from Macs, I bought them about a year and a half ago. Since Macs was taken over I kinda been ordering from other sources.

The "rivet" that slides in the bottom window lift channel does NOT turn on my 29 Tudor. They are meant to slide, but not rotate.

Yes, sure seems like it would work better if it rolled.

I agree and was surprised to learn years ago that they didn't roll. I keep all the moving door parts well lubed with Mystik JT-6 High Temp grease, and they work well.

Yes I had the same problem on a 30 Coupe. I had to grind the back of the roller down and weld it in. Then grind it smooth to get the clearance. I think I also bent the arm a bit. Remember "Aftermarket" means "Almost Fits"
