Default Tillotson carb.

Parts catalog show passage plugs for Zenith
none for tillotson what other methods could be used?

Passage plugs for tilly are lead balls. I make the plugs out of thick solder I pound into the passages.

You could run a tap in, 6-32 or 8-32, whatever fits, and install set screws.

Yup, I do the same thing. No leaks and I have done three carbs in the same way.
