My '33 caps are sold out, still have about 4 or 5 of the 32's and 34's.

I have put a very small makers mark on all the ones I have made. Thank you

I just picked up this 34 greyhound. I cannot find another example of a two piece greyhound cap where the dog can come apart from the cap. I recognize that this one is aftermarket... And pretty dang old. Anatomically correct, Art Deco wave base where feet attach.

Anyone else see one of these before? Have an idea of who made it? I don't see any markings under the cap just yet, but when I get home, I'll clean it up a little more and see if I can see anything more.

Non Ford approved greyhound radiator caps were available well before 1934. There are at least four I know of from Model A days. There is even what appears to be a Ford factory photo of starlet Dolores Del Rio with the 1929 Model A Sport Coupe, and it is wearing a greyhound cap!

Likely pre-1929 judging from the size of the radiator cap. All aftermarket greyhounds are junk in comparison to the Gorham versions used on Lincolns through the last of the big ones in 1939.

I would love one . However I use my car several times a week and at $650 (pushing NZ$1000 by the time I get it here) I would be scared to leave the car parked anywhere .
I think I'll stick with my beaten up repo with the end of the tail gone -Karl

I solved the possible theft problem by carrying a regular cap and put it on if my car is out of sight for any length of time.

The genitalia on a Genuine Ford is longer than the reproductions that I have seen.
